I am at home for thanksgiving and my dad says he has been nursing this special bread mix for me, Amish Friendship Bread. This bread is special because you
have to tend it it for 10 days before you get to eat it. Well today was the day everyone got to have a bite of my special bread and it really is wonderful. Thanks Dad for getting me started.
Whenever you make the dough you have to spilt it into 4 bags so you can share is hence the friendship part. You would be surprised how many people did not want to nurse the bread for ten days but would be happy to eat it.

It's like the story "The Little Red Hen". No one wanted to help plant the corn or make the bread, but they sure did want to eat it.
